CUNJC Shines at SDU 2025 Global Partners Week, High-Quality Summer School Programme Attracts Students
From 27th to 31st October, the Shandong University 2025 Global Partners Week concluded successfully in Jinan. As the only overseas technology and innovation platform named after the University of Cambridge to date, CUNJC was invited to participate. The Centre not only delivered a dedicated presentation on its Summer School programme for students of Shandong University but also held a series of practical exchanges with the university regarding deepening collaboration, building a bridge for international resource connection and talent cultivation.

During the Global Partners Week, the Centre's representatives conducted Summer School programme presentation and set up a dedicated consultation booth in the core area of the Education Fair. Through face-to-face Q&A sessions, they provided on-site students with detailed information on the programme's core aspects, including the curriculum system, application timeline, and registration process. The booth remained bustling with activity throughout, as students actively enquired about course content, the academic experience, skills development, and more, fostering a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. These on-site consultations not only gave students a direct understanding of Cambridge's high-quality educational resources but also opened a 'direct channel' for accessing international learning opportunities.

Concurrently, the Centre held a working meeting with officials of the School of Management, Shandong University. Focusing on international student exchange and cooperation, the two parties conducted in-depth deliberations, clarified the follow-up cooperation directions in areas such as short-term study programmes and academic exchanges, and laid a solid foundation for further deepening the partnership.

CUNJC was jointly established by the University of Cambridge and the Nanjing Municipal People's Government. It serves as a key platform for the University of Cambridge's collaborative activities in China, with functions covering international high-end original scientific research projects, innovative research and development, achievement transformation, international academic exchanges and talent training. The Summer School programme is jointly developed by the Centre and the University of Cambridge's award-winning professor team, specifically tailored to provide an immersive academic experience for outstanding students worldwide. With an 'academics + practice' core, the programme encompasses 12 specialised courses in disciplines including Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Economics, and Finance. It innovatively adopts a diverse training model, integrating four key modules: Academic Programme, Hackathon Projects, Professional Development, and Cambridge Life, highly replicating the Cambridge elite teaching system. The programme aims to help students enhance comprehensive practical skills, broaden international perspectives, and grow into versatile talents capable of solving real-world problems.
This participation not only provided students of Shandong University with a comprehensive understanding of Cambridge's high-quality academic resources but also promoted the establishment of a deep collaborative bond between the Centre and Shandong University. In the future, both sides will continue to expand the scope of exchange, building more international platforms for student growth and jointly promoting the high-quality development of educational cooperation and talent cultivation.
