CRRC ZELC is the Centre's new industry partner after signing the MoU.

 

 

On the afternoon of 25 May, Daping Chu, Tenured Professor of Cambridge University, and CEO and Academic director of the CUNJC, was invited to Zhuzhou, "the capital of electric locomotives in China", to attend the " CRRC ZELC Science and Tech Festival 2022". On behalf of the CUNJC, Professor Chu signed a memorandum of cooperation with China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as the CRRC ZELC). Focused on the forum theme of "Transportation and Energy Innovation and Integration", he also delivered a cutting-edge academic speech on the topic of "Head-Up Display (HUD) and Immersive Driving".

 

 

Cambridge University and CRRC ZELC have always maintained a good foundation and tradition of cooperation. In recent years, the two sides have carried out joint research in the field of rail transit, and achieved remarkable results.

 

As a supporting platform for Cambridge University's comprehensive development in China, the CUNJC and the CRRC ZELC formally signed a memorandum of cooperation. In future, the two parties will seek deeper cooperation in areas such as information technology, renewable resources, and smart city.

In the context of promoting the national strategy of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", the CUNJC and the CRRC ZELC will make joint efforts to focus on cooperation in the fields of information technology, renewable resources, and smart cities, contributing to achieving the "dual carbon" goal, and broadening the feasible path for collaborative innovation at home and abroad and deepening the integration of production, education, research and application.
